Basic rules of customs clearance
Dear customers!
Please note that in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 29 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Customs Regulation in the Republic of Kazakhstan" all goods transported across the border of the Republic of Kazakhstan are subject to mandatory customs clearance in the manner and under the conditions provided for by the customs legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Notification of the return of cargoes over 14 days after arrival and placement in the DHL EXPRESS warehouse.
DHL company is a courier service or express delivery service. In our legislation, express cargo is subject to the standard customs clearance procedure, including correspondence (documents) and goods of individuals for personal use.
Please be advised that DHL EXPRESS, in accordance with its internal procedures, reserves the right to return the goods back to the Shipper after 14 calendar days from the date of notification of cargo arrival, if the receiver has not collected the documents for customs clearance or has not provided feedback on the ongoing handling of the goods.
You are entitled to carry out all customs formalities yourself, as required by customs law, and provide a customs release for the consignment for delivery or collection from storage within the stipulated time frame.
